Chippewa Valley Nordic High School / Middle School Ski Team

Mission: Provide an opportunity for area students to learn, train, compete, and have fun cross country skiing. Focus is on improving technique and training for competition in the Wisconsin Nordic Ski League.

The Chippewa Valley Nordic Ski Team invites all middle school and high school aged (grades 5-12) skiers in the Chippewa Valley area interested in cross country ski racing as part of a competitive team. Interested skiers from all schools in the area are welcome to practice, train and compete with the team to develop their skiing skills and attend competitive events.  Practices on snow are generally held 3-4 days a week either at Tower Ridge or Silvermine during low/no snow periods. The early dryland season practices are held at Pinehurst Park and River Prairie Park. Our team also travels to a few races on certain weekends, with a couple of races on select weeknights. Look to our team website for more information about our team, season, registration, and more!

Updates from the team can also be found on our Facebook page.
